Frequently Asked Questions

Connection

USB is recommended for the lowest latency (5-10ms). Use Bluetooth (15-20ms latency) when you need wireless freedom. Both work well for most use cases, but USB is preferred for critical live performances.
Make sure your Nord Stage 4 is powered on. Check that the USB cable is properly connected. Try a different USB cable if available. Restart both the app and your Nord. If using Bluetooth, ensure your adapter is charged and in pairing mode.
Connection drops are usually caused by faulty cables or Bluetooth interference. Try a different USB cable. If using Bluetooth, move closer to the adapter and away from other wireless devices. The app automatically attempts to reconnect when a connection is lost.
The app works with standard BLE MIDI adapters including CME WIDI Master, Yamaha MD-BT01, Quicco mi.1, and similar devices. Connect the adapter to your Nord's MIDI IN/OUT ports.

Setlists

First, check that your Nord is connected (green indicator). Ensure Program Change messages are enabled on your Nord (Menu → MIDI → Program Change → On). Verify you're on the correct MIDI channel.
You can share setlists via QR code (other users scan to import) or export as a JSON file. Go to your setlist, tap the share button, and choose your preferred method.
Export your setlists as JSON files and save them to iCloud, Dropbox, or your preferred cloud storage. You can re-import them at any time.
Yes! All 512 factory programs (Banks A-H) are included with their original names. User programs in Banks G-H can be renamed to match your custom sounds.

MIDI Controls

Make sure the Organ section is active on your Nord. Drawbars only affect the organ section. Check that MIDI CC messages are enabled on your Nord (Menu → MIDI → Control Change → On).
Turn the program dial on your Nord Stage 4, and the app will automatically capture the selection. This is useful for quickly finding programs when building setlists.
Yes! Use the Rig Manager to configure secondary MIDI devices. You can send program changes to iPad synth apps, external keyboards, drum machines, and more — all simultaneously with your primary Nord program change.
Yes! The Master Click sends 24 PPQN MIDI Clock to your Nord, which syncs the built-in arpeggiator and other tempo-synced effects.
